The temperature transmitters transform the voltage or resistance changes signals of thermocouples or platinum resistors respectively in a 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 VDC signals. These standardised signals  can be transmitted easily and securely even over long distances. The output signals of the transmitters are temperature linear so that no further linearization is needed.

 

In the case of thermocouple transmitters the temperature compensation is integrated. The transmitters are available in the mounting forms for connector heads of the form B, MA(J) or for rail mounting (35 mm). For special applications there are special execution forms such as circuit board execution to be mounted for example in available housings. There are also transmitters with switching outputs. In addition to the analogue models with fix preset measurement ranges and the possibility of fine tuning of zero-point and band width, there is also a digital execution of the transmitter. In the digital form the user can program the input art (thermocouples or resistors) with an interface and the corresponding software. The programming of the digital transmitters can be ad libitum changed to best fit new measurement requirements.
